Our Returns Philosophy
We understand that selecting furniture is a deeply personal experience, much like choosing the perfect dining table to anchor your gatherings. If an item doesn’t harmonise with your space as envisioned, we provide a 15-day window from delivery date for returns or exchanges.
Note on Custom Pieces: Like our made-to-order display cabinets that are tailored to your specifications, certain items cannot be returned. This includes:
- Custom-sized or specially finished dining tables
- Personalised engraving or monogramming services
- Clearance items marked as “final sale”
The Artisan Returns Process
Step 1: Initiate Your Return
Contact our Customer Experience team within 15 days of delivery at [email protected] with:
- Your order number
- Item(s) you wish to return
- Reason for return (helps us improve our service)
- Photos if the item arrived damaged
Step 2: Packaging Guidelines
Return items in their original packaging, protected as carefully as we ship them:
- Reuse our climate-controlled packaging materials
- Secure fragile items like marble tabletops with ample padding
- Include all hardware and assembly instructions
Step 3: Shipping Your Return
We’ll provide a prepaid return label for damaged or incorrect items. For other returns:
- Standard Return: Ship via DHL/FedEx (similar to original delivery)
- Free Return Option: For exchanges, we’ll cover return shipping when the new order exceeds £50
Step 4: Refund Processing
Upon receiving and inspecting your return (typically within 3 business days):
- Refund Method: Funds will return to your original payment (Visa/MasterCard/JCB/PayPal)
- Timeline: 3-5 business days for credit card processing, up to 30 days for bank transfers
- Deductions: Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error
Exchange Process
For exchanges (available for in-stock items only):
- Follow the standard return process
- Specify your desired replacement item
- We’ll ship the new item once the return is received
- Price differences will be reconciled before shipment
